FAQ
Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a counseling session cost?
The current fee for a regular 45 minute counseling session is $125.00, for an hour session is $155.00. Initial intake and diagnostic sessions are billed at $180.00, and are typically completed within the first couple of appointments. These are standard and customary fees and are covered (in part or in whole depending on your individual plan) by most insurance policies. We will file claims with your insurance company. We are pleased to now offer the convenience of secure online payment for those who prefer to avoid third party payors and pay for their services directly.
Do you accept Title 19/Medicaid insurance? What insurance plans do you accept?
We welcome clients utilizing Medicaid plans, and we are in-network providers for both Amerigroup Medicaid and Molina Medicaid Plans in Iowa. We are pleased to have in-network contracts with most major insurance companies including: Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Amerigroup, Midlands Choice, Aetna, and United Healthcare among others. We always recommend checking with your insurance company for your specific coverage details, as each of these companies offer a variety of different plans and your counselor may not have access to the details of your specific insurance plan coverage.
